Fall to Winter

As we work our way through fall into the winter coming, yard work and winter preperation is keeping us busy here so all classes are put on hold for the time being.

I am taking Homeopathy Practioner level distance course through a school in Toronto that is also filling my time.

Summer guests for the Bed and Breakfast were interesting and a good start to my first year running the bb and I look forward to next year as well.

News

Well we have more than entered May now, time is moving quickly with the addition to The Beacon of two minature horses plus all the fence/corral building.  Late in june, young chicks will be  coming to live though egg production will not start til fall sometime, oh well, we can watch them grow...and The Beacon will have home grown, home loved, and organic chickens to nourish our bodies and guests throughout the winter.  When the eggs come they will be in the breakfasts, cakes, muffins, loaves and so much more.  Talk about putting a lot of wholesome love in our bodies.

I have bought some beautiful bushes, rhodadendroms, azelieas and more to decorate the gardens.  The play structure will be up in a few weeks for children to play and enjoy...Laughter and contentment fill the land, hope all visitors enjoy all that is here...

Well our meditation class was a hit, so another is starting again on April 26, Monday, at 8pm.  Give a call or email to register because this is a class you dont want to miss.  Community and fellowship is very important when finding peace in yourself, knowing you are not alone in your daily events.  This class is more than simply learning techniques, its about opening yourself to a beautiful journey to your own heart and feeling the connectiveness with others.  Come and join us...

The Beginning

So here I begin with another new avenue of expression and networking for The Beacon B&B With Natural Healing Therapies. Is it a spa? no..... Is it a retreat center? well sort of ... Officially its been running as a Bed and Breakfast for the last 12 years until I bought it in october 2009. I am Natural Healing therapist so the B&B is to also have healing therapies offered to public and patrons, with healing packages for you to come and stay and recieve on average 3 to 4 hours of my time per day from body work/healing, meditation, nutrition and so on.. I also sell crystals and Nuwatti Herbals in teas, balms, and bath teas... So my intention with this blog is to have newsletters here, advertisements of sales, workshop notices and such...
